What Your Support Makes Possible

Arts Education Grants & Scholarships

Chiaha has supported arts education in Rome and Floyd County since our founding over 60 years ago. In 2011, we formalized that commitment with the Chiaha Arts Education Grant that has since funded 70 arts education initiatives serving over 39,000 students. The Chiaha Arts Scholarship -- coming in 2027 -- will help graduating seniors take the big step toward a career in the arts.

Supporting Local Artists

We help local artists share their work, build their skills, and connect with audiences throughout our community. Our Artist Registry connects working artists to schools, businesses, and paid opportunities across our community. Art/Work, our professional development series launching this winter will give local artists and arts organizations practical tools for building sustainable creative practices. And our Rome Poster Pop-Up -- new in 2027 -- gives local artists paid project opportunities and a high-visibility platform to market their craft.

Accessible Community Arts Programming

Our programs and events bring people together, make the arts more accessible, and strengthen Rome and Floyd County’s creative economy. From Go Fly a Kite and The Architecture of Rome Student Art Show, to The Art of Nature: A Rome Poster Pop-Up — a two-day event coming in March 2027 -- Chiaha is committed to delivering free accessible arts programming to the community.
